Michelle Uhl

10/19/2000 - 04/12/2012

She helped many greyhounds find their forever homes.

Shelly was the best Adoption Ambassadog ever. She helped many greyhounds find their forever homes by accompanying me at meet and greets, home visits, walks through nearby parks and city streets. She shared her home, her beds, and toys with many greyhounds going on to their next adventures. She had a way of calming nervous and unsure dogs, letting them know they would be okay. Shelly knew no strangers — she was a friend to all, and the one that everyone wanted to adopt. She was beautiful, sweet, and friendly. Most of all, she was my heart dog….the one who made me want to become active in adoption efforts. She left us suddenly, and much too soon. Now, she’s at the Rainbow Bridge, welcoming and calming new friends there, until they find their humans again.
