Melissa Beard 08/27/07 Hello everyone.  My name is Melissa and I was fortunate enough to adopt Geisha Girl.  She was in the loving hands of Kate and Martin when I met her, and they were kind enough to allow me to give her a permanent, loving home.  Not only did I adopt such a wonderful girl, I was fortunate to meet two beautiful people who I now can call my friends.  Geisha and I came together at a time in our lives when we both needed each other, and we have a strong, loving bond.  For as much love as I give her, she gives me even more.  Team Greyhound and the people who are associated with it are wonderful.  I am blessed to have found you all.
Kate Booze 07/31/07

Hi this is Kate Booze again- Martin and I just adopted Sandy and we wanted to let everyone know she is doing really well!  Her older brother, Beau Buster, loves her…well maybe he misses having all the attention to himself!  LOL

Thanks to all at Team Greyhound for adopting, fostering, volunteering, giving, etc. to these special dogs!!!

Deb Arquette 04/01/07 Our family adopted Pico (Inhancer) back in October. Since then Pico has really taken to our family. He loves everyone. Hugs and kisses all the time. He likes to sleep on his bed but prefers to sleep in our bed or he takes over the couch! Pico's favorite things to do are run in the back yard and play with his toys then take a
long nap!  He really liked playing in the snow too! He gets along great with Buddy (our sheltie) and likes to run along the fence to play with the neighbor dogs. We have two children, 17 and 12, and he loves both of them. We have had no problems with him at all. He is a great addition to our family.
Kate Booze 02/23/07 To the wonderful hearts that adopt greyhounds please open them to fostering as well.  My name is Kate Booze.  Martin and I are Beau Buster’s parents.  We recently fostered Geisha Girl and she found her permanent, loving home today.  Though it is hard to let go, it is a very rewarding experience as well!  We will never forget Geisha and we have volunteered to foster again.  Thanks so much for your time.
Bobbi Marlatt 12/16/06 I visited this site today and was very impressed with the information that it provides. I have adopted two Greys from WV after we lost out last lab of heart disease. After two years of having Ike and Dixie I don't regret one minute of adding them to our family. They both have very different personalities and both love to have attention. No matter how many times my husband kicks them out of our bed at night they both are back in bed at my side by morning. I visited this site after doing some web surfing because I am really interested in adding to our family once again. I once read and heard that Greys are like potato chips, YOU JUST CAN'T HAVE ONE! How true this has turned out to be!
Donna 12/04/06 I just wanted to say that adopting Greyhounds was the best thing I could have ever done.  They are the sweetest, most loving & gentle dogs, and I couldn't imagine life without mine.  Recently I lost my first Greyhound "Loveable Louise" to cancer.  It was the most difficult thing I've ever gone through.  She was a beautiful, precious girl and I miss her terribly.  She will always hold a special place in my heart.  I hope all of you will have the opportunity to share such a bond with a Greyhound, it's priceless!
Joseph Dravenstatt 12/03/06 Hey this is Joseph, I adopted Lestat (Activator) and he is doing great. We love him so much. He leaves a good impression on everyone he meets. He loves to play in the snow with his new brother, a jack russel mix we saved from the pound.
Karole Kridelbaugh 11/27/06 Dear Friends:
My husband is a Correctional Officer at the local men's prison.  I use to work there for nearly eight years as the Drug Testing Tech.
I think your Prison Dog Program is GREYT!  Our prison will be starting a Prison Horse Program soon.
I feel animals are very therapeutic, and true gifts from God!
We are awaiting our adoption approval from Greyhound Pets of America, Salt Lake City, Utah.
Our 10 year old (Greyt X Shepard) mix "Kaitlyn Noel" had to be put down last September due to Lymphoma.  The mass sneaked up on us, and then it was too late.  She was fine, then boom, six days later she became quite ill.
My husband and I took turns carrying her to the back yard to go potty.  Our children helped also.
I miss Kaitlyn's Doe eyes, airplane ears, leaning, sleeping in the roach position, and her SELFLESS LOVE!
I know she gives her blessing in our giving another Greyhound a forever home.  I know we will be blessed by another Greyhound.  They ARE THE ONLY DOG MENTIONED BY NAME IN THE KING JAMES VERSION OF THE BIBLE  PROV 30:29-31

God bless you and your work.

Lisa Majercik 11/11/06 Met a lady today walking a Grey from your program.  I stopped her because my beloved grey died last October and I miss him terribly.  She told me all about your organization.  I thought it sounded like a great program.  I came right home and got on your website.  You may be getting an application from me soon!
Pico Arquette 11/01/06 Hi.  My name is Pico  (Inhancer) I was adopted Oct 6th by the Arquette
family, I am having a great time getting used to them .  They take me
to the park about every  day  to run.  they love me very much,
when I got  here  they already had a dog but we get along great. I
also sneak into their bed once in awhile..   ok.  ok.  every night,  I'm so
spoiled :)   Thank you Team greyhound for saving me and giving me
this great place to call home!
Joseph Dravenstatt 10/19/06 Hi, I adopted activator a couple of weeks ago, and things are going great. He is adjusting well to his new lifestyle and doesn't seem to be hesitant to do anything anymore. He is a perfect fit and is still the most beautiful dog I have ever seen. He is the perfect combination of laid back and playful. I wanted to thank Team Greyhound, everyone was really nice and helpful and made it a great experience. Also I just found out a similar organization has been started in Michigan. It is great that more greyhounds will be saved.
Dan, Rebekah & Girls 9/30/06 We just signed the adoption papers today and we are all very thrilled to become part of the greyhound family.  We all felt so welcome at the event today and we would like to thank everyone who has helped us though the process. We look forward to seeing everyone at greyhound events. Thank you once again.
Eydie Siegel 09/05/06 Hi,
I was recently looking at the Greyhound Breeding and Racing Database and I noticed that GSILawanda (track name) was adopted from your rescue group. I am currently with GreyhoundWelfare.org and I am fostering her littermate GSI Donna. I'm knew to greyhounds and I'm so thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful experience. I hope Donna goes to a good home, she is a beautiful, sensitive girl, that will need a very special touch. It will be hard for me to let her go, but I hope that it will make me stronger for the next foster!
Patricia Barnhart 08/31/06 I just wanted to say that the greyhounds are looking wonderful as always. I use to be a handler at Marysville with Sgt. McGraw. I would like to take this time to say hello to all the girls and Sgt. McGraw. I hope that all is well. I am in the process of adopting a greyhound from wheeling downs. wish me luck!!! take care and keep doing a wonderful job girls. I send my love and prayers.      Patti!!!
Kate Booze 07/26/06 Hi this is Kate Booze.  Martin and I adopted Beau Buster in August 2005.  I was just revisiting the site and it looks great!!  I love Happy Tails!  So cute.  Thanks for everything-wonderful dog.
Candy Freed 07/05/06 Our beautiful girl Cindy came to us over 3 years ago.  We were a little apprehensive as we have 3 cats and a lot of steps in our house.  She learned quickly how to scramble up and down the steps to see where the rest of her "family" was.  I have taught her to shake hands, lay down and do a little "dog dance" on our pergo floor.  We love our little sweetheart!
Michelle Loveless 05/08/06 Mike and I adopted two sweet greys that came back to Team Greyhound from a divorce situation.  It is the best decision we have ever made.....thank you for this website and your support of these sweet hounds!
Patricia Barnhart 05/01/06 I just wanted to say hi to all the girls in the dog program at Marysville and to let them all know that I'm doing great and miss them all very much. Hi to Sgt. McGraw. The greyhound program has taught me a lot about me and life. thanks for giving me the opportunity to work with the wonderful greys.
Stephanie Miller 04/24/06 Thank you very much for taking the time to make the Meet & Greet the Greyhounds possible @ Woodville Mall. Team Greyhound is welcome at the mall anytime. Thank you.
Robert L Young Jr. 04/18/06 I just want to THANK YOU for things that you do for these dogs it's amazing. One day I was taking my daughter to dance class at the Woodville Mall I came across your organization there. It made for a very interesting time. Me and my daughter stood talking with your people and petting every greyhound that you had out there. I am father who is laid off from his job and now is going to school. The meeting of your beautiful dogs inspired me for school to write a paper about the treatment of these dogs by the racing industry. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!
Terry P. 04/14/06 I've had the privilege of working with approximately 130+ greyhounds and their handlers since Team Greyhound started at Pickaway Correctional Institution in Orient, OH.  As back-up to the Team Greyhound Coordinator here, I get to know first-hand the greys from when they first arrive and watch their transformation to loving pets in the skilled hands of their dog handlers.  Inmates and greys live together in the dorm, the hounds are taught their 5 basic commands and are socialized with the inmates and staff alike.  The greys presence humanizes the prison  It is not unusual for me to have 4 to 6 greyhounds in my office in a typical day.  Inmate handlers show their affection to their greyhound and are enriched by their experience of unconditional love. The inmate's hours are documented in our apprenticeship program.   Their dedication gives a retired greyhound a second chance at life. Seeing a greyhound run into my office simply makes my day!  Thank you to all the foster/adoptive families.
Scott Obermiller 04/08/06 Outstanding website!  I work at the GPA kennel in Daytona and it is great to see this.  I will miss them all very much, but seeing this really helps me know that they all will get to enjoy their retired life.  Thanks!!
Albert Price  MD 04/03/06 Well put together ......God bless you and the greys.
Unknown 02/27/06 Very nice website.  I like all of the great pictures of the greys for adoption and at the events.
LuAnn 02/25/06 I am the Dog Program Coordinator at Lorain Correctional Institution.  I have been working with Team Greyhound for 5 years and I consider it a privilege to be affiliated with them.  These folks are the most caring and loving people I have ever known.  The dogs that come into their care are truly blessed to be in such good hands.  I want to say thanks to Pam, Janet and Nanci, who give so much to these beautiful dogs, and to us.  Your support through the years has warmed my heart.  And, of course, thanks to Therese, our awesome trainer.  I have learned a lot from her.  I would be remiss if I didn't mention Nancy Schmidt.  I hope you read this...I miss you and hope you are doing well in the sunshine state!  Kera, keep up the good work!  Team Greyhound rocks!!!!
Leslie A. 02/22/06 I thoroughly enjoy your website and try to get to your meet & greets whenever they are in our area.  My husband and I are considering making our next dog an adopted greyhound.  We currently have 3 dogs one of which is a 13 year old German shepherd.  She recently had a stoke and she also suffers from some canine Alzheimer symptoms so we have decided that we cannot take any attention away from her for a new family member at this time.  But in the future, we will certainly look into greyhound adoption.  Continue your fantastic work!
Sindee 02/20/06 This is a wonderful web site and bless you, for helping these beautiful pups find loving families.
02/16/06 I love what you do for the dogs!!! My friend helps you. He is now watching Clifford. He has watched about 5 dogs. I love this program!!!
Pam Bassett 01/29/06 I am so proud of our Website!  It looks awesome, and is very reader friendly!  Thanks to Kera Provencher, and Thanks to Janet Buck.  The prison updates and foster updates are so helpful in helping a potential adopter to pick out the dog that would best suit their home :o)  I'll try and round up some pictures of the dogs not photographed yet!  Looks Greyt!   Here's to Team Greyhound!!!!
Patricia Barnhart 01/19/06 Yes, I did know Kerry.  She is a wonderful person and handler as well as the other girls.  Thank you!!  Tell her that I said  hello.
Shelly Grubb 01/11/06 I read with interest the comments sent in by Carol Kelly on 5/6/05.  We also adopted a greyhound from Jack at Homes for Greyhounds in Ky.  He had fostered "our baby" for 7 months and was looking for just the right home for her.  After talking to him twice on the phone, he decided ours was the home.  It was a total surprise when he brought out a black dog as he had told us ours would be a brindle color.  Our "Katrina" is the most loving well behaved dog in the world.  She is a little spoiled though as we have 13,000 sq. ft. fenced for her and all she wants is a walk in the park.  We take her, our lab mix and our Lhasa Apso everyday, rain or shine.  (We do try and go between the drops.)  We have had her since April 2000 and love her more everyday.  Your website is wonderful, keep it up.  I'm so glad I found it as I have friends wanting to visit it and possibly adopt.
01/08/06 Patricia did you know our Daughter Kerry she is a handler ??
Patricia Barnhart 01/06/06 I used to be a handler at Marysville with the Greyhounds and it is a wonderful program.  It made me realize a lot about myself.  The Greyhounds are wonderful dogs.  Sgt. McGraw was the best too.  All of the girls in the program are wonderful as well.  Thanks for the opportunity to work with the Greyhounds.  I would also like to say hello to all the girls in Marysville and to Sgt. McGraw.  Thank you so much for everything.  It has helped me come a long way.  Thanks guys!
Diana Oehler 01/04/06 We adopted Betty in May'05.  She is doing awesome and has adjusted beautifully.  We just adore her!!  Many thanks to Don LeVan!!  The updated website is greyt--thank you!!!
Norma Parker 01/04/06 I think the web site looks wonderful. It's so easy to use now.  Thank you Kera
Sandi Douglass

12/17/05 Great site with lots of information available.  We are hoping to adopt a Grey very soon and will definitely use your website to pick up more information as we go along.  Hope to see you in Columbus Dec 18th!
Kate Booze

11/5/05 This is Kate Booze and I am Beau Buster's mom:)  He has been in my home since June and is doing wonderful!!! Just wanted to make that clear because on the website it says he was returned after 3months...I absolutely love Beau and and he is safe and secure in a greyt home!  Thanks!
Kera Provencher 10/10/05 My Family recently adopted our beautiful little girl, Mini Me Friday September 23rd.  I cannot say enough about our precious little girl!  She is absolutely gorgeous, and has the most lady like personality, what wonderful manners she has learned in prison!  I would like to thank everyone at Team Greyhound for their outstanding commitment, without all of your hard work and dedication, I fear for what would happen to all of these wonderful dogs. I would like to give a special thank you to Norma and George Parker for assisting us in the adoption process.  Norma and George went above and beyond my expectations to ensure a successful adoption for both Mini and my family.  We had several home visits, as I have two small Chihuahuas and three cats.  I was extremely impressed with the concern that Norma and George had for the well being of my other animals.  It is people like them who make organizations like Team Greyhound such a success!  Thank you guys!
-Kera, Mini and Family
Barbara and Greg Fox 10/7/05 We would like to thank everyone involved at Team Greyhound for matching us up with Sheba. As of September 30, she has moved into our home and day by day is making it her own.  From her first 'home visit' Sheba seemed to feel as if she belonged here. That very night she began politely reminding the squirrels in our backyard that there's a 'new dog in town.'  From her prison update we were expecting a little work to bring her out of her shell.  Instead of coaxing a very shy dog we were amazed to find Sheba very well behaved, out going and overly friendly.  There was an 'instant chemistry' between Sheba and my youngest niece, an all star on her junior high track team.  It is so amazing to watch the two athletes bond to one another.  Sheba delights in showing off the tricks she has learned (she's still teaching us her hand signals) and playing with her new squeaky toys.  She's a real joy; we took her to Cincinnati to attend the Greyt Greyhound Gathering this past Sunday where we had a fabulous time.  Besides, taking home two trophies (most white and most recent adoption) we made many new friends.  Thank you Team Greyhound for bringing Sheba into our lives.  Barbara and Greg Fox
Amanda Moosman 10/5/05 I just wanted to let everyone know that Cowboy is the greytest!  The site looks greyt and by summer I hope to be able to foster for you all!!! Lots of love, Amanda Moosman and Cowboy
Penny 9/19/05 We adopted Penny on 8/31/05 She is now living in Pittsburgh, PA and is developing into a greyt gal.  She is very gentle and gets along with her 6 new sisters and has bonded to her Mom & Dad.  Also, love your site.
9/19/05 This site has great potential! It needs to be updated more often. Especially prison dogs and hounds available. I like To visit this website to see the hounds and read about the prison dogs and their progress.
The Remmel Family 9/15/05 On September 14 , we lost our " Memphis". I just wanted to thank Suzanne for helping us adopt him. He was only with us for a short time, but he will be dearly missed.  As someone once said..." he left a pawprint on our hearts".....
Sue Wolfe 9/11/05 A BIG THANK YOU to everyone involved with Team Greyhound.  I picked up my wonderful BRADLEY on Saturday, September 10, 2005.  BRADLEY fits in our family very well.  The neighborhood is in love with him.  His favorite place is outside watching everything.  He loves sitting in the front yard with us just watching and taking quick naps now and then.  We love him so much.  I never get tired of just watching him.  He is a real joy.  I want to thank Sandy, for matching us with BRADLEY, you really found a perfect match for us, Meg for helping me understand greys, letting me visit her 3 greys and answering all my questions, and Mickey for bringing Bradley to Elyria for our first meeting and then to Norwalk for our final trip home.  Thank you ladies.
Rose Wharton 9/3/05 I love to look at the available hounds. I really love Frazer. I lost my darling Chase on June 3rd. I had him for 8 years and now have a terrible void in my life. I hope to get another one. I am partial to the greyhound since having my Chase. He was wonderful beyond words. It is so nice of you folks to rescue and find homes for these lovely hounds.
Carole Paul 7/19/05 I just adopted Patsy and am thoroughly enjoying her.  I've always been a "small dog person" so she's a real change for me, but she's very well-behaved and has impeccable house manners.  She's doing great with my two small dogs and two cats.  Yesterday morning, I awoke to find her head nestled up against my belly, her legs sprawled on the pillow next to mine and entwined with the legs of the cat who was sleeping on the pillow.  Wonderful way to start a work day!
Darlene Hedrick 7/8/05 We adopted LJS Chick (now called "Chickers") thanks so very much to Gary and Connie Holder of Team Greyhound. They went out of their way to help Chickers become a part of our family. We also adopted Brandy who's shy, but really coming out of her shell (many thanks to Don Levan and Deb Tripp). Team GH people are so wonderful. Thank God for people like them who save these beautiful, fantastic dogs. Please keep up the good work. You are all very much appreciated.
7/16/05 We adopted two dogs off of your site and they are WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!
We adopted Talladega in 2001. She is brindle and the biggest sweetheart. I trained her myself, I think she was trained first at the prison and she's real good but I added to her training.  We adopted Keys Cody in 2003. He is white and black and energetic and smart!! He's a little Houdini and knows how to get out of anything. He's a little bad boy!! He's my baby tho. He was trained at the prison but he's harder to train than Tally. He's had  more problems but he's getting better! They are the most perfect family dogs,  the biggest sweethearts.
Sgt. McGraw 6/6/05 We have 8 wonderful greyhounds here at Marysville in the prison program. Unfortunately, we have lost the service group that sponsored our group. We are in need of donations. If you want to be approached, by letter, of what we can use, write to: The Second Chance Dog Program, the Ohio Reformatory for Women, 1479 Collins Ave., Marysville, Ohio 43040. You won't be contacted unless you come to us first. A staff person can handle the mailings, so inmates don't have access to your address.
Jeff Ladesic

5/7/05 With our Daughter Kerry Vadasz involved in this program we were so impressed with it , we have sent in a care box and we will definitely be sending another. Not only is this program great for the dogs it is also great for the inmates as well, GREAT JOB MARYSVILLE
Carol Kelly 5/6/05 I rescued a magnificent fawn brindle 4yr.old male in Feb. He came with the demeaning name of Stumpy because half his tale was torn off.  He was going to be put down last year because he no longer focused on winning, but developed a "lab" personality and just wanted to play.  He was fostered by Jack with Homes for Greyhounds in Kentucky for ten months because Jack wanted him placed with the "right" family. I guess because I have two labs we fit the bill.  I renamed him Sir Gallahad, shortened to "Sir".  When he's naughty, I just say "NO, Sir" or "yes, Sir" when he's doing well.  He imprinted to me immediately, is always by my side, loves my two "girls" (the labs) and respects my cat who thinks he's a German shepherd.  The longer he's with us the more the lab personality is taking over.  He actually bounces when excited, retrieves objects better than the retrievers and adores my grandsons, and even enjoys playing in water.  Recently he's starting to "talk" to me, sometimes in full sentences.  If I talk "dog" back, he'll keep up the conversation which is hilarious. I take him to the assisted living facility where my father lives and he's always a hit.  He has been a tremendous addition to our family.  The best decision I've made in years.  I have become a fanatical advocate to help the plight of the greyhound.  Although I did alot of research on my own, I found your website very interesting and will recommend it to anyone asking me about adopting a hound.  I look forward to getting more involved in eradicating the exploitation of this breed.  I am writing congressman, newspapers and recently appealed to the Montel Williams show suggesting he devote a show to exposing the inhumane treatment of these noble animals and to hopefully educate the public about the breed and further more rescue. Maybe if enough of us lovers of the hounds contact Montel there will be a show so I encourage everyone reading this to write, phone or E-mail to show our interest.
Karyn Rayl

5/1/05 Thanks to the Swanton team for bringing the dogs back to our Relay For Life in Hardin County.  They truly are beautiful animals and make incredible pets. Keep doing what you're doing!
Alexandrea Marlowe

4/27/05 This website helped me to understand greyhounds better, and what I am looking for. I just wish there was more information about the dogs, or more pictures. I hope they all find a loving home, and because of this site my family has decided to adopt at least 1 greyhound from here! Im so happy that there are such nice people to make an organization like this one, to help greyhounds in need.
Mark and Carla Chapman

4/11/05 Hi and Thank you to the wonderful people who adopted Foster this past week.  You will love Foster!  We are the family that felt it necessary to return him to the Team because of a major change in our situation.  He is a very loving, smart, curious and we think handsome dog, even with the lop-sided ears and the overbite.  He is also a strong dog who is not good with other (smaller) dogs.  He needs a loving, strong handler.  He is used to sleeping on a comfy couch or with you and adores treats.  Please take good care of him.  He is very special!
Susan Peck 4/6/05 I love your website....and my heart just melted when I saw your 'Tiger' first posted.....so happy that he now has the home he deserves.  My 11+ year old senior 'Ashtabula' and I bless you for all your good work.
Doris Ryan 4/5/05 I get quite emotional when reading how Harry, Beau Buster and Landon are progressing.  I volunteer at Quad Cities Greyhound Adoption.  It is just wonderful staying in touch with these dogs.  Do you know anything about Mad Molly?  God bless you for your kindness to these wonderful animals.
Susan (& Jim) Summers

3/12/05 We adopted Cher, an elegant black & white tuxedo, last Sunday - the prison program she was in was abruptly ended, but due to the love and devotion of the prison inmate who trained her for a month, she is very well-behaved -- a true little lady in every way.  She is loving her new life of luxury already, and if I'm not mistaken, well on her way to becoming "daddy's girl."  Special thanks to Connie & Gary Holder for helping to make this happen and Team Greyhound for all the greyt work with these beloved hounds.
Sarah York 3/9/05 I will be moving to a real house for the first time since getting out on my own.  I will finally be able to have a dog!!  I am very excited about this.  After doing tons of breed research, I have decided that I want a retired racing greyhound.  After another ton of research online, I am hoping to be able to adopt from your organization.  Your site is very inviting and helpful.  After looking over your available hounds, I have already lost my heart to a couple of them!  Hopefully I will be in a position to begin the adoption process by the end of April, or beginning of May.  I look forward to meeting with you then!!!!
Regina Meeker 3/8/05 I am so pleased with your organization.  My husband and three children adopted Denny a wonderful and very loved greyhound from your Cincinnati group.  Suzanne Reep and the foster parents were wonderful and presented us with a well behaved and loving hound.  I did see that someone asked if they could be trained and it is possible.  I currently have Denny in an obedience program (PetSmart) and he is doing wonderful and loves to go.  It is a great way to socialize your greyhound to other dogs and people in a structured environment.  Denny is a fabulous family pet and we cherish him greatly.  Thanks to everyone who helped with Denny's adoption!
Richard Rossell 2/28/05 Just this past week we had to have our greyhound put down. We had her for 10 years and she was 15 years old.  After we mourn for a while we are going to adopt one or two more.  They are the greatest.
Alan Vlemmiks

2/2/05 Greetings from Vancouver, Canada. I am incredibly impressed with your web site, the detail on the dogs, and in particular the program itself - Keep it up and good luck      Alan
ps:  later this year we will be looking to adopt and hope it is possible to get a dog from your facility?
Chester Brees

1/31/05 I think you have a very good site it was nice to see Harry and Landen again.  I am a volunteer at the quad city adoption spent a lot of days with them 2 boys. I am glad to see that Mad Molly was adopted she was a favorite of mine. keep up the good work.
Michelle 1/31/05 Our family adopted a greyhound, Cliff, less than 4 months ago from a wonderful group out of Canton, OH. Greyhound Gathering Rescue. Cliff and I are preparing to enroll in the PAWS FOR CAUSE, a group that visits children's hospitals, nursing homes and schools. What a wonderful, loving, obedient, couch surfing, breed. Many people have the wrong impression about them. Some have even said greyhounds don't so well in this program. I have confidence in Cliff. Greyhounds are remarkable animals. They are even mentioned in the Bible. Proverbs 30:31
Trisha 1/27/05 Are greyhound very trainable?  I was wondering why you don't see them much in dog obedience?
Jerald Edwards 1/26/05 My girlfriend got a greyhound & black lab mix back in October 2001.  I read about this website in Clyde's Paper so I thought I would check it out.  I think it is a great idea to adopt them out just so that the greyhounds aren't just left out to die of old age and somebody can love them too.
Kim Fry 1/24/05 I like the idea that you are doing something to help these animals out.  We live on a farm and have other dogs (which I rescued from Iowa.)
RK 1/21/05 Excellent site. I like the description of greys and what to expect. All sites should have this. Keep up the good work.
Michele 1/18/05 We adopted Midnight in December and we are so happy!! She is the best dog and so gentle with my kids (I have 3) She is just perfect and gets along well with my cat (the cat is not crazy about Midnight though :) The prison program is the best program, for both the handler and the dog. I hope the handlers know how grateful we are for what they have done with our dog. We are so impressed and are thinking of getting another Greyhound!!! Thank you for Midnight, she is so much more than we hoped for.
