Agreement

  In order to increase the chance of a dog being adopted, the greyhound needs be seen at our events.   I  

     agree to bring the dog to a minimum of at least one meet and greet a month.

  My intention for fostering is to keep the greyhound until he/she is adopted.  If anything occurs 

     to prevent me from doing this, I will return the greyhound immediately to Team Greyhound

     Adoption of Ohio.  (TGAOH)

  I agree to provide TGAOH with updates on the dog’s progress.  I also agree to inform TGAOH in the

      event of any problems that might occur, i.e. biting, dog fights, dog  getting loose, medical issues, etc.

  If I am interested in adopting my foster dog, I will notify TGAOH as soon as  possible  to reduce confusion

      as to his/her availability.

 I will not dispose or destroy the greyhound for ANY reason.

 I will not turn the greyhound over to anyone else unless I have consent from TGAOH.

 I accept responsibility for any damages the greyhound may incur to any person, animal or property

     while in my care and will not hold TGAOH responsible financially.

 I will not allow the greyhound on furniture or beds.

 I will keep the greyhound in a crate when no one is at home to monitor him/her.  The crate, if

      loaned from TGAOH will be returned promptly when I am no longer fostering.

 I will closely monitor the greyhound around small children and other pets at all times, including

      Meet & Greets.

  I will keep the greyhound in a fenced area or leashed and insure all safety precautions (gates,

     doors, etc.) to keep the greyhound from getting loose.

  I agree to use a muzzle on ALL greyhounds, whenever turning the foster greyhound outside

     with multiple dogs.  If not, I will turn the foster greyhound outside by him/her self.

  I will maintain the greyhound at an appropriate weight, and not overfeed.

  I agree to take the greyhound to the vet for spay/neuter or any other medical needs, as approved

      by TGAOH.

 I agree to maintain a neutral stance on racing whenever promoting the greyhound.

  I will promote greyhound adoption with a positive outlook and keep negative opinions of others in

     the adoption or racing industry to myself.  Negativity of any kind is wasted energy.  It only brings an

     organization down.   Please let’s all work for the best interest of the dog!!
